can 20,000 honkys be wrong?

dave matthews band. hi-fi buys amphitheater. atlanta, ga. last night.
not sure how to feel about this. for starters when we finally got to the venue after waiting in traffic for 45 minutes, we had to park about a mile from the amphitheater, and we had to pay $20 for this "premium" parking spot. bullshit. then we get into the place and the bathroom lines are ridiculous. like for real, ridiculous. out of control. stupid. just a sea of drunk white folks falling on top of each other. the line for beer was even more ridiculous because there weren't even that many people and it still took a half hour to get 2 beers. as for the show, the band played great. mostly new songs, american baby being the only big "single" of the night. and trey anastacio came out a played a few songs with them. the first being jimi thing. i have a whole new respect for trey a. now. he's got some real chops.
as for the crowd, well, they left much to be desired. more then 5 times i heard some retard scream "play something I know!!!". and once when dave came out for the encore, some jerk beside me yelled "you're going to have to play something better than that." as this tune wasn't one of the aforementioned "singles".
fuck these kinds of people. their bad for the earth. i would love to be all "peace and love" but these sad humans make that difficult.
that's why dave should stop doing big venue gigs and start touring in clubs. the dmb machine need not rely on popular vote anymore. it's time to give the real fans something to look forward to.
